Hello and welcome to the world of camper skirting. I am Travis Shelkey, and I will be your coach on our camper skirting products.
In the beginning we started skirting campers with wood and foam. This method does work, but it has some downfalls that make it inconvenient to use. Wood and foam are installed on the trailer via a frame screwed to the camper, thereby making it a permanent structure. This method works well so long as you never plan to move your RV. This method like vinyl skirting, still requires an additional heat source under the camper to keep pipes from freezing. If by chance you end up having to move, than you have to remove the product from the camper piece by piece and carry it with you. You also have to remember how to reassemble it, pay someone else to do so, or have it completely redone. This can be a costly and time consuming process. Another issue with this product is that camp ground owners are starting to ban this method. The reason for the ban is due to people leaving the wood and foam behind, which leaves a mess for the owners to clean up. After skirting campers for awhile I settled on vinyl skirting as the material of choice. I have found it to be the best skirting for the job. The benefits of this product are remarkable and win hands down against the other methods. Vinyl skirting has worked on every camper we have done and believe me we have done plenty. We have used it on RV's, campers, 5th wheels, travel trailers, and toy haulers. Benefits of my vinyl skirting product are…
Our product also has the benefit of being custom installed so there is no worry about ordering the product and finding it doesn’t fit your trailer. We travel right to your site to install it, which is also why we don’t carry the product on hand. With our product you get the advantage of reusing the skirting time and time again.
